Joshua Boyd is a Music Composition major at Auburn University, where he creates original music that blends technical skill with expressive depth. His compositional work is shaped by a strong foundation in music theory, orchestration, and contemporary techniques, allowing him to write in a variety of styles and settings.

In addition to composing, Josh is an accomplished performer who has studied cello and percussion. Outside of schooling, He has marched with Carolina Crown and Atlanta Quest, gaining valuable experience in high-level ensemble performance, precision, and musical leadership. These performance experiences influence his writing, especially in rhythm, texture, and ensemble color.

Josh is passionate about crafting meaningful music, refining his artistic voice, and contributing creatively to both the concert and marching music communities.
